Design, in between everything.

EnBetween lives in the space between people and systems, where things can get confusing, inaccessible or simply harder than they need to be. We help organisations make those experiences clearer, more inclusive and easier to use.

Meet Sam
Enbetween was founded by Sam, a designer with 20+ years of experience across print, digital, web and mobile.
She has worked across healthcare, government, education and complex digital products — designing everything from large-scale platforms and design systems to reports, websites and services.
What connects all of it is a simple idea: good design should work for more people.
It’s an approach that not-for-profits, NGOs and government departments keep coming back for.

Our stories

The founder story

I was born in Iran and moved to Australia as an adult.
I know what it feels like to arrive somewhere and realise that many of the systems around you weren't built with you in mind.
Language, culture, technology, disability, age, confidence — there are countless reasons why something that feels simple to one person can become a barrier for someone else.
That’s the throughline in my work.
I design for accessibility from the first sketch, not as something to check at the end.
I care about plain language, clear information, thoughtful interactions and understanding the people who will actually use what we make.
EnBetween grew from that way of working.
It brings together the things I care about most: good design, accessibility, education and making digital experiences a little easier to navigate.
Because people shouldn't have to work harder just to make something work.

Our values

What we believe

Accessible from the start
Accessibility isn't something we check at the end. We consider different abilities, technologies and ways of navigating from the beginning.

Designed for real communities
There is no single “average user”. We consider cultural and linguistic diversity, age, disability, neurodivergence and different levels of digital confidence.

Complexity made clearer
Whether we're working with a government service, digital product or community resource, our job is to make complicated information and interactions easier to understand and use.
