Medtasker is a clinical task and communication platform used by hospital and allied health teams to assign, manage and track patient-related tasks.

At a glance

The challenge

Hospital teams work in fast-moving environments where priorities can change quickly. Staff were dealing with scattered task information, too many notifications and limited visibility of team availability. This made assigning, prioritising and tracking tasks harder than it needed to be.

What we did

We worked with doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and hospital administrators to understand how tasks moved through their day.
The platform was redesigned around clearer task priorities, smarter notifications and easier team coordination. We also created responsive workflows and a scalable design system for desktop, tablet and mobile, with accessibility and cognitive load considered throughout.

The outcome

The redesigned experience made common tasks easier to complete and reduced administrative effort.
- 75% reduction in admin time
- 85% task completion without additional training
- 95% reporting better navigation and task visibility
The result was a clearer clinical experience designed to support staff in busy, high-pressure environments.
